Cash is the king? No, quality product is the king, and it brings lots of clients!

Every time I hear stories from our customers about what happened to their previous letterboxes, with a long list of faults and problems, I appreciate more and more the fact that we are working with a manufacturer who shares our values, and for whom quality control is the key component of the business. On occasion, to our frustration, we have turned down a potential order from a large client when we realised that the expected lead time or quantity will compromise our ability to deliver a product we can guarantee.

You could say that letterboxes from Letterbox4you are not that different to others, like many others they are manufactured from galvanised steel, powder coated, with a cam lock. The difference you can’t see is in the quality and gauge of the steel, sourcing the best possible paint or using Euro-Locks cam locks instead of no-name cheaper alternatives. I bet you that you don’t see many company directors walking round the production lines at the manufacturers checking the products being loaded on the pallets?

I am sometimes asked were we not tempted to improve our margin/bottom line by outsourcing production to China or India? It’s been considered many times! But then, without fail, every time the argument of having letterboxes manufactured in an ISO9001 certified factory in Europe, with in-house quality control, prevailed.  Although it may not be crucial information for potential clients, we are proud supporters of manufacturing within the EU, being a guarantor of future economic growth and stability.

I could talk about the quality of Letterbox4you products much longer (our logo says Letterbox4you - Quality Post Boxes) but hopefully I don’t have to.
